Marketing Officer

Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for a temporary Marketing officer a leading youth charity in order to cover period of up to 6 months in order to develop and deliver marketing activities to help achieve the key aims and objectives outlined in the charity s Strategic Plan.


Key Responsibilities will include:

Use audience insight to develop and deliver communications, marketing materials, projects and campaigns for key audiences (e.g. parents, volunteers, volunteer shops, young members, external), across both online and offline channels (e.g. email, digital, print)
Ensure that the charity brand is correctly and consistently represented and reinforced across all internal and external channels
Manage the brand support functions across the charity
Develop and implement the charity brand support, training and outreach projects to help staff teams and volunteers.
Work collaboratively with research agencies to gain audience insight and develop audience-focused communications
Support marketing activities across the organisation
Plan, manage and provide support for key external events to engage new audiences
Developing and implementing the charity s marketing partnerships and advertising initiatives, ensuring they support our brand, key messages and charity s objectives

In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:

Producing marketing materials, direct marketing, online marketing, advertising, social marketing, branding and/or market research
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
The ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure, prioritising workload to achieve the deadlines
Computer literate, with knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong interpersonal, organisational and problems solving skills
Extensive experience of working within a marketing and communications team
Significant experience of delivering audience- focused marketing and communications projects, delivering on time and to budget
