Mass Participation & Challenge Events Manager (Maternity Cover)

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a fantastic international charity in their search for a Mass Participation & Challenge Events Manager (Maternity cover) in order to deliver and growth of the charity entire event.
This will be a 9 months FTC
You will be instrumental in the strategic development of the event portfolio to ensure constant innovation in order to engage new audiences and achieve our income and acquisition targets.

You will develop and implement an ambitious Mass Participation and Challenge Events strategy, aligned to the charity organisational and fundraising strategy, which drives income growth, integrates and builds supporter engagement.
You will support the Lead on delivery of charity's annual flagship event
You will effective manage internal and external stakeholders, including relationships with partner agencies.
You will develop, implement and evaluate marketing strategies and comms plans to ensure constant improvement.
You will lead an ambitious team to manage our mass participation events portfolio to drive engagement, hit participant targets and the income stream achieves year on year growth.



You will ideally have:

Extensive fundraising experience, skills and knowledge of mass participation, community and challenge events, with a track record of growing income
Significant experience in managing a large scale or mass participation event
A proven record of product and/or fundraising event delivery
Track record of innovating within a Mass Participation and Events remit, transforming or introducing a new product, partnership or way of working which has delivered measurable success
Proactive in identifying new fundraising opportunities and developing conceptual ideas into workable plans. Innovative and creative thinker. Able to critically appraise fundraising materials and activity across a variety of channels.
Strong leader, team worker and able to inspire others. Able to develop effective working relationships with direct reports, external suppliers volunteers and staff at all levels across the organisation.

Location: London, flexible working, hybrid working 
Salary: £45,000 per annum plus £3k London Weighting
