Harris Hill is working with a high profile children's charity to supply an interim Events professional for 3 month, supporting a mass participation event in London.

This role is an immediate start and will support a children's mass participation running event. Due to the low time constraints, the client is being flexible on the level. The role is therefore paying the equivalent of £32-39kpa.

Duties:
To lead on the planning, delivery and evaluation of charity bespoke events and deliver against KPIs and net income growth targets.
To lead the project management of the event, including the planning, on the day delivery and evaluation of the event.
To lead the planning of the event, supporting cross charity project groups and delivering supporter experience and event logistics to the highest standards, and to support the Partnership Management team to manage the relationship with event partner and sponsor.
To lead and manage all supplier relationships to support the delivery of the events, including but not exclusively logistics companies, venues, online fundraising platforms, fulfilment agencies and more.
To deliver an exceptional supporter experience for all events participants, from providing seamless registration flows and digital journeys to delivering an excellent 'on the day' experience.
Provide support where required to support marketing efforts across owned events, regularly evaluating performance against budget and targets, and planning activity in line with wider charity marketing activity.
To maintain accurate records of supporter interaction on the CRM system, and to support the use of data to provide insight and inform decision making.
To ensure all activity complies with the charity's Moral and Ethical Guidelines, the Fundraising Code of
Practice and other relevant regulation and guidance.

Skills and experience- Proven event and/or project management experience
Proven experience working in a fundraising environment
Experience of marketing events and propositions to the public, working across on and offline channels
Working with the public in a customer or supporter facing role
Strong project management skills, proactive and organised with strong attention to detail
Strong and effective communicator, capable of talking to a diverse range of people with sensitivity and discretion
High IT proficiency
Digital skills, including copy writing for digital channels, building emails, cross channel marketing and stewardship
Commercial acumen, ability to maximise opportunities as identified by the Charity
A good team player, who can work confidently along and with key charity stakeholders, working collaboratively to achieve our ambitious targets
Proven ability to multi-task, work in a busy environment, and think quickly to problem solve
