I am delighted to be working alongside an amazing veteran support charity in search of a Membership Compliance & Support Manager for 3 - 6 months (temp). As the Membership Compliance and Support Manager (MCSM) you will be responsible for the management and coordination of the compliance function, membership policy and support to the Membership Council (MC) and its Working Groups.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and motivate a compliance and support team with competing demands ensuring that deadlines and customers' needs are met.
Working closely with other Membership Managers/teams, directorates and departments to ensure a joined-up approach is taken to addressing opportunities, finding solutions and responding to member feedback.

Support:
Working closely with the MC Secretariat (Governance team) plan, manage and support away days and meetings of the Membership Council and its Working Groups including Legion Complaints Committee, Ceremonial WG, Financial Compliance WG and County Budget WG.
Develop and constantly improve operations to deliver great customer service as well as efficient and satisfactory administrative support, ensuring adherence to policies and regulations
Create and manage an annual team calendar to effectively manage schedules, deadlines, team tasking and resourcing

Policy & Compliance:
Look to improve branch compliance with improved and accurate annual financial returns as well as completed MS1s
Working with other directorates and departments and utilising available technology, improve compliance data management and reporting on outcomes.
Working closely with the Head of Membership, review and update the Membership Policies and Procedures. To also maintain the up-to-date register of Membership Policies.

Finance:
Manage the Membership Administration and the Membership Council budget
Review monthly income and expenditure reports, monitor and report on any under- or overspend, resolve any unmatched invoices to ensure timely payment to suppliers
