Membership Officer

Job description

I am currently looking for an experienced and dynamic Membership Officer to support the membership growth for a professional medical membership organisation.
The purpose of this role is to assist the Head of Membership and contribute proactively to the running of the membership department, working closely with other functions including communications, professional development, digital and finance departments.

Main duties:
Provide full administrative support for the membership function the organisation
Coordinate meetings and webinars for member networks
Coordinate membership communications
Coordinate the renewal process with direction from Head of Membership
Provide statistics reports and analysis for management and board
Coordinate the lapsed member process
Coordinate the activities of the special interest networks (SPINS) and other online member communities
Support the Head of Membership with the creation and implementation of Membership Recruitment and Retention campaigns
Be responsible for regularly updating records on the member database
Liaise with finance to ensure accurate payment records for members
