Coventry Citizens Advice is a progressive organisation that has been able to continually innovate and develop new services for over 80 years. Coventry Citizens Advice has been able to demonstrate excellence in several areas and been commended for its volunteer training, information service and partnership working. We are multi, local and national award winners in areas of Research & Campaigning, Service Development and Money Advice.

We are recruiting to the pivotal role of Operations Director. We are looking for someone who alongside the CEO, Board and other colleagues will drive Citizens Advice Coventry further forward as a flourishing and dynamic organisation that will be there for the community long into the future.

Job title: Operations Director
Salary: circa £45,000
Location: Kirby House, Little Part Street, Coventry, CV1 2JZ. There is flexibility for some home working taking into account the requirement for the Operations Director and CEO to have continuous senior management office-based presence.

Amongst other criteria, the successful candidate will have:

  • A strong interest in the work and values of the Citizens Advice service.
  • Demonstrable evidence of managerial experience in a complex organisation.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to develop a strong team culture.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise work, develop ideas and all solve problems.
  • Ability to present information to the organisation and trustee board and external stakeholders in clear concise reports.
