Operations Manager

Job description

I am currently looking for an Operations Manager for an amazing newly independent childrens charity. I am looking for candidates with a strong background in HR & Facilities.
This is a new role involves managing the Operations team (2) and implementing the organisation's early systems, processes and infrastructure to guide and support the charity's growth. These processes include financial and human resource management.
The charity is currently going through an office move, this will be the immediate focus as well as various HR projects.
Main duties:
OPERATIONS (Including HR & Facilities Management)
Maintenance of full and compliant HR records
Rolling review of HR policies and ensuring implementation and compliance
Support recruitment processes including ensuring all aspects are legally compliant
Oversee the Volunteer Coordinators development of a new but robust and growing
volunteer programme
Monitor staff training needs
Provision of effective software, hardware and electronic solutions for the smooth running of
the organisation
Ongoing development and management of the new CRM (Salesforce) system
Manage the relocation of Safe Passage assessing potential locations and making provision
for facilities management requirements
Lead on decisions around office equipment including telephones, printers and copiers and
the need for external resource to source an office.
Review the production of monthly management accounts and relevant financial reports
