Harris Hill are delighted to be supporting a renowned national children’s charity in their search for a Philanthropy and Development Manager.

The Philanthropy and Development Manager sits within the Trusts & Statutory Team which is focused on maximising the long-term support of funders capable of giving five, six and seven figure gifts. You’ll manage your own portfolio of existing funders and new prospects – some warm, some cold – building positive relationships to generate income.

You will also need the ability to develop new proposals using advanced project management skills. The post holder will also need to think strategically, identify and pursue new opportunities, and be organised and flexible enough to respond to the evolving needs of supporters.

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Experience of developing high-value relationships and using major giving techniques to secure significant income is essential to the role

  • Substantial personal experience of securing support (at a six-figure level) from institutional funders by producing high quality, compelling written and creative materials.

  • Excellent communications skills to analyse, interpret and present complex information to influence and negotiate with others successfully.

  • A track record of demonstrating strategic thinking, initiative and creativity to achieve outcomes.

Salary: £30,199 to £40,821 per annum Plus Inner London Allowance of £3,366 if eligible
Full-time, permanent (35 hours a week)
Location: Flexible. You can work remotely, OR in the office (London), OR Hybrid.
