Harris Hill are very pleased to be working with one of the UK's oldest and most loved children's charities to recruit a Philanthropy Manager focusing on working with BAME communities.This newly created roll will help develop a strategy for growing and developing philanthropic giving in BAME communities, and developing a portfolio of new donors to develop giving relationships with.

Key responsibilities will include:
+ Developing and managing a portfolio of philanthropic donors within the BAME community
+ Maintaining excellent relationships through regular interaction including face-to-face meetings, emails and phone calls
+ Working with the wider fundraising team to ensure integration and a holistic approach to fundraising and supporter care.
+ Proactively identifying new prospects and initiate relationships with potential new donors
+ Developing and implementing a strategy and budgets for improving income and engagement with BAME communities

The ideal candidate will:
+ Be an experienced fundraiser with evidence of making successful "asks"
+ Have an understanding of working with BAME communities and their motivations for giving
+ Have line management experience
+ Be able to develop and implement strategies to deliver successful outcomes in line with organisation objectives
+ Be an excellent relationship manager both internally and with existing and prospective donors
