I am delighted to be supporting an impactful national health charity in their search for a new PR Manager.

As PR Manager you will join this tight knit collaborative comms team to manage the charity’s proactive and reactive media. You will support colleagues organisation wide delivering national, regional and trade media coverage.  

The role will lead and coordinate media interest in the charity and their work, ensuring regular contact with target media and timely response to all media requests.

The PR Manager will take ownership of the execution of issue-led media campaigns, raising awareness of the charity’s cause and promoting the organisations lobbying, fundraising and influencing work.

A broad role with real impact the incoming PR Manager will also take the lead in developing a more proactive approach to media for the organisation.

This well-respected organisation are committed to finding treatments and ultimately cures through research, and to drive improvements in care and quality of life. They do this through supporting high-quality research to find effective treatments and cures; leading the drive to get faster access to emerging treatment for families in the UK; ensuring everyone has the specialist NHS care and support they need – the right help at the right time, wherever they live; and providing a range of services and resources to help people live as independently as possible. They are a real force for those suffering in the UK.

The ideal candidate will:

-        Have solid experience working in a busy (ideally national) press office

-        Proven success securing media coverage

-        Excellent written ability

-        Experience working to support the entirety of an organisation through PR

-        Possess the skills to work with speed and accuracy

Location – London (with hybrid working pattern and excellent flexible working options)

Contract – Permanent

Salary - £31,000 - £36,000
