Products & Events Fundraiser

Job description

Harris Hill are working with a fantastic cancer charity in their search for a Products & Events Fundraiser. As part of the P&E team you will work across the organisation to deliver our P&E portfolio, including key third-party events.

Key responsibilities:

  • You will steward supporters and assist with the implementation, development and review of all products and key third-party events.
  • You will create world class supporter journeys, building and communicating processes and fundraising infrastructure across our activities, producing marketing strategies to maximise the recruitment of supporters, all to drive value and income.
  • You will deliver ongoing central marketing and stewardship communications to supporters, including email marketing and social media.
  • You will be responsible for a first-class supporter experience, ensuring that financial and participant data is stored correctly on the charity's database.
  • You will lead on key third party event recruitment and stewardship for events such as Virgin London Marathon, while providing administrative support. As the first point of contact for calls, emails and requests from our product and events supporters you will support the team to build and deliver a growing base of event and product activities.

To apply to this role you will ideally have:

  • Experience in mass fundraising 
  • Excellent supporter care via verbal and written communication, telephone, interpersonal and networking skills. Able to balance various objectives from different stakeholders.
  • Experience of meeting financial targets.
  • Experience of administration and meticulous record keeping, excellent IT skills, and working experience of word processing and database packages.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  • Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to identify opportunities that could enhance team effectiveness and income.
  • Ability to juggle a wide range of activities, prioritise own workload, deal with conflicting demands and meet tight deadlines.
  • Tactful and discreet when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work outside normal office hours when the occasion demands.

 

Salary: £30,528 - £39,499 per annum included London Weighting
