Programme Manager

Job description

I am currently looking for an experienced part time (4 day week) Programme Manager for an amazing disability charity. This short term assignment will see you managing a programme in 3 countries across Asia and Africa. You will work with partner organisations and the charity's teams to ensure effective delivery, financial management, monitoring and reporting of the project.

Main duties:
To manage effective delivery of the implementation of this new project effectively
To ensure Partners deliver according to the contracts, in time and within budget and produce the outcomes identified in the contract.
To provide support to consortium partners and their staff to comply with contract and produce outcomes in a timely fashion.
To keep in regular contact and maintain a schedule of visits to all projects and project staff on a regular basis.
To compile donor reports to DFID in coordination with the charity's programme team and consortium partners.
To regularly review project delivery against budget
To recruit and manage any external consultants as needed.
Be the primary point of contact for partner organisations and develop and implement capacity building plans with partners to address identified gaps and needs
Identify new funding and non-funding partnerships
Support the identification and development of partnerships with relevant agencies in programme countries
