A charity are looking for for a Project Manager to support the key welfare programmes delivered by the charity in the Philippines. You would need to make sure a high standard of programme is delivered to the beneficiaries and their families and take a role in developing and enacting new welfare programmes and services in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
-Be the primary point of contact for the Network
-Take responsibility for ensuring key milestones are met in delivery of all aspects of the programmes.
-Develop and manage the risk register for the programmes, ensuring that mitigating factors are identified and put in place
-Produce monthly impact reports suitable for use as case studies, news stories and other promotional activity
-Take responsibility for preparing and managing the budget of any new output
-Research and identify suitable funding partners for any new project
Produce regular update reports to the Senior Management Team and key personnel as appropriate.
- Work with the Country Manager and the Philippines Team to ensure that services are delivered on time and to the required standard
-Manage the London-arm of the programmes budgets and provide regular financial reports and reconciliation.
-Work with the Project Support Officer to create suitable monitoring and evaluation protocols are in place for port welfare work
Person Specification
-Extensive programme/project management experience, preferably gained from programme development and/or management in the charitable sector
-Understanding of basic monitoring and evaluation principles
-Ability to working in a flexible development environment with people for whom English is not their first language
-Confident in working with people of all levels, both within the Church and Corporate sectors, and deliver presentations to groups of up to 100 people at a time
-A programme management qualification or understanding of programme management principles will be an advantage
-Ability to understand and prepare financial information such as budgets and forecasts, -Ability to prioritise and respond professionally to stakeholders at all levels, particularly with service users where English may not be their first language
-Willingness to travels overseas for work
