I am currently looking for an experienced Project Manager-Connecting Stories for an inspirational children's educational charity. This role is responsible for working with the Senior Project Manager for Connecting Stories to ensure that the project is delivered on time and achieves the desired outcomes. The postholder will also lead work in the Manchester Hub and support activity in other Hubs as part of the communities and local areas team. Please not this role is a fixed term until 30 September 2021.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the development of Hub activity in Manchester, in order to meet desired outputs and outcomes
• Support Hub Manager to develop and deliver projects and activities to raise literacy levels in this Hub
• Deliver Connecting Stories activity in Manchester and Stoke
• Plan and deliver other cross-Hub projects on time and on budget
• Provide regular project reports to the Director of Operations and internal project boards as required
• Provide regular funder reports
• Support the Senior Project Manager in delivering Connecting Stories project plans within budget and report on these as required
• Ensure all data is collected and recorded on our Salesforce database
• Develop and manage project budgets, including oversight of any delegated budgets to local partners
