Project Support Officer

I am delighted to be working alongside an amazing health organisation in search of a Project Support Officer. This 12 month FTC will see you primarily support the Research Manager and Director of Clinical Services in delivering their Academy work programme as well as supporting projects across the Clinical Team, notably the professional education programmes.
Drawing on project management experience, the post holder will ensure the organisation has the information, systems and structure in place to deliver The Academy workplans and will have a proactive approach to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Providing project management support and advice for Academy Working Groups to ensure a co-ordinated and consistent planning approach across the three Working Groups to support the aims of the Academy and the organisations agenda.
Providing Working Group planning and delivery updates to the Academy Operations Board to support internal planning, income generation and communications.
Support and liaise closely with the Professional Education Lead and Training and Education Manager to deliver on agreed projects and reviews of existing resource.
Administering the external meetings for the Academy Advisory Committee, Academy and Working Groups. Ensuring: meeting dates are organised; the agenda and associated paperwork distributed; and minutes are taken in a professional and timely manner.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Administering the internal Academy Operations Board. Ensuring: meeting dates are organised; the agenda and associated paperwork distributed; minutes are taken; and co-ordinated collection of information/data/reports from members of the Board.
Attending Academy Advisory Committee, Academy Working Groups and Academy Operations Board meetings.
Arranging travel and accommodation and travelling to attend Academy meetings, or to provide general assistance.
Evolve programme office processes and procedures within the Academy.
Organising and storing Academy paperwork, documents and computer-based information.
Processing Academy members' expense claims as agreed by Research Manager or Director of Clinical Services.
Providing project management support to the Professional Education Lead and Training and Education Manager to co-ordinate in year projects including a National Training Scheme as well as the development of new Guidance.
Supporting the development and establishment of Professional Education resource and clinical guidance review and revision programme.
Administering the Professional Education projects working groups. Ensuring: meeting dates are organised; the agenda and associated paperwork distributed; minutes are taken; and co-ordinated collection of information/data/reports from members of the working groups.
Provide administrative and project management support to other teams as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.

Person Specification Essential:
Evidence of project management training and significant project management experience.
Experience of supporting business plan development and delivery.
Experience and competent in the use of project planning tools including MS Project or equivalent.
A good understanding of formal or medical copy writing and medical guidance layout.
