Harris Hill is seeking a Prospect Research Lead to support a charity in Kent, on a 2-3dpw basis, paying circa £45kpa pro rata. The role will run for 3-4 months.

The basis of the role is to design and establish effective prospect research tools and processes, equipping the charity's new fundraising team with the resources and capability to effectively identify, qualify, screen and manage a wide range of prospects including Corporates, Trusts and Foundations, Statutory bodies and individual donors.

You will carry out prospect research, directed by the Head of Corporate Partnerships, Head of Grants and Director of Fundraising playing a key role in building an initial new business pipeline, making recommendations for priorities and project alignment.

Experience needed:

Experience in a prospect research role

Experience of producing detailed prospect profiles

Experience of identifying suitable prospects, aligned with projects/opportunities, for a range of fundraising income streams and making recommendations to fundraising colleagues

Experience of developing or delivering robust due diligence processes

Experience using a CRM to effectively store and utilise prospect data, in line with data protection legislation and best practice

Experience using a range of external research tools and databases to support prospect research
