An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the UK's leading children's mental health charity. Place2Be has been providing in-school support and expert professional development to improve the emotional wellbeing of children and young people, families, teachers and school staff for over 25 years.

Place2Be provides children's mental health services in over 600 primary and secondary schools, reaching a total school population of over 350,000 pupils. The teams at the charity provide a range of services in their partner schools to build resilience early in life through counselling, creative work and play, and support a child's ability to engage in school life. They are currently training c1200 Counsellors on Placement each year who build their mental health and counselling skills and experience through practice in their partner schools.

To continue their ambition to reach 10% of schools nationally Place2Be is now looking for an inspirational and passionate clinician to join them in the capacity of Regional Clinical Lead (London) on a permanent basis.

Place2Be - Regional Clinical Lead (London)

Location: 175 St John St Clerkenwell London. Travel across the London will be required.

Salary: 50K + Benefits

Contract: Permanent

As a Regional Clinical Lead, you will ensure consistently high quality, safe, ethical and efficient clinical work is delivered across the Region. You will be accountable for clinical governance and ensure all services are clinically sounds, effective and legally compliant.
As a senior member of the clinical team at Place2Be you will work with the Clinical Director and other Regional Clinical Leads to help shape the organisation's approach and range of mental health interventions in schools.


To be considered for this position you will be able to demonstrate an ability to improve methods of clinical service delivery within the context of up to date research and emerging best practice in children and young people's mental health services and in line with clinical policies and procedures. The successful candidate will have experience of delivering a range of clinical learning modules, to qualified clinicians and large groups.
