Regional Fundraiser - South East

Job description

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a fantastic health charity in their search for a Regional Fundraiser - South East in order to manage and proactively develop relationships with supporters - including community groups, corporate organisations and individuals in your region. You will deliver outstanding stewardship and focus on the highest value and highest potential opportunities, to ensure sustainable long term income for the charity.
You will work closely with the Regional Fundraising Manager on:
o the delivery of the Community and Challenge Events strategy and operational plan.
o to develop the annual budget for your region.
o developing fundraising and volunteer materials.

You will manage and develop relationships with supporters, delivering excellent levels of supporter stewardship.
You will ideally have:

- Experience of working in community fundraising or experience of working in relationship management or new business in a similar setting
- A clear understanding of community fundraising across both relationship management and new business development
- Experience of building positive relationships and networking
- Experience of delivering successful presentations
- Experience of planning and delivering projects
- Experience of a using database to support, inform and report on fundraising and supporter activity (ideally Raiser's Edge)
- Experience of successfully fundraising towards financial targets
- Understanding of and adherence to the Fundraising Code of Practice and fundraising regulations
Contract type- Maternity Cover 12 months
Location: Home-working from anywhere in the South East region.
