Research Fellow

Job description

I'm working with an influential thinktank, which is looking for a Research Fellow to lead on high-quality research and policy reports in the field of ageing and the impact it has on society.

As a Research Fellow, you'll work both independently and as part of a team on a variety of research projects across a range of policy areas, all under the umbrella of the impact of an ageing population on society. You'll therefore be developing and leading on research and policy reports, analysing data (both quantitative and qualitative), and presenting your papers to policymakers, academics and other stakeholders and audiences including the media

As such, you'll have significant experience of managing and delivering policy and research projects within a public policy or research environment and an ability to interpret complex data to develop a strong narrative to influence policy positions. You will, ideally, have a Masters or higher degree in Social Sciences with a research methods component.

This position pays around 30,000 - 35,000 p.a. (full time, permanent); the organisation will also consider part-time work, secondments or permanent placements for the right candidate. I will be sending a finalised shortlist of candidates on Monday 28th January, so if you are interested in this position, please send your most recent CV by Friday 25th January at the latest to harry.marven@harrishill.co.uk . This application will involve a CV and cover letter.

Please note that only suitable candidates will be contacted.
