A Charity based in Watford are looking for a Salesforce Administrator. The candidate would need to provide technical maintenance and operational support to maintain the effective configuration of the information infrastructure, through system administration. Through this brief to enable stability and high availability of services delivered, in accordance with the agreed service level targets, and to the appropriate technical, quality and process standards in a way, that promotes the department and work ethos that the IT Department espouses. Please note this role is based in Watford and some flexibility to work from home.
By performing regular checks, and test to ensure system(s) are available and meet service requirements, are backed-up and can be restored within agreed SLA.
By installing or upgrading system components and software, also providing routine automation and maintenance of security policies and processes.
By reviewing service desk issues and contribute to and action improvements to services, also referring significant issues to the manager.
By working within the ITIL change and release management processes, and maintaining accurate records of all actions taken in line with the ITIL configuration management process.
Worked within a software development environment.
Substantial experience with the core Microsoft development tools and programming environments e.g. Visual Studio, .NET Framework, XML, SQL.
In depth understanding of the construction and design of relational databases using a structure analysis methodology.
Substantial experience in the development of web or database applications with experience of the full development lifecycle.
Practical experience of application support.
Experience of writing requirement specifications.
Has planned, written and executed software tests of application components for unit and system testing.
Experience of on-premise server maintenance/monitoring
Experience of O365
