Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a fantastic cancer charity in their search for a Senior Challenge Events Executive.

As Senior Challenge Event Executive you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of third-party challenge events, supporting participants from sign up to completion of their event and providing best in class stewardship.

You will be a high performing fundraiser with experience of delivering income growth through effective marketing and supporter stewardship. You will be driven and dynamic and relish the opportunity to deliver significant growth to support the Charity to achieve its ambitious goals.
You will line manage a member of staff to ensure they achieve their objectives and fundraising targets, including one-to-ones, annual appraisals and learning and development plans
It is an exciting time to join The Charity as they have recently entered a new strategic period. Along with funding an existing world class programme of research, treatment, and care, we are also raising the remaining millions to build a Cancer Centre. This new centre will provide radical new solutions for the research and treatment of cancer.


The ideal candidate for the role will have:

 

  • Experience of community and events fundraising
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to build strong and effective working relationships
  • Proactive and problem solving attitude
  • Experience of implementing new processes to support effective fundraising
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to respond sensitively and appropriately to emotional circumstances, including distressed and bereaved supporters


Salary: £30,000 per annum
Location: London and/ or Sutton office with 3 days in the office based
