Senior Community Fundraising Manager 12 month FTC

Job description

Harris Hill are working with a well-respected children's charity in surrey to find an experienced Community Fundraising Manager for a 12 month maternity cover contract.

In this role you will be required to shape how the charity works with different community fundraising audiences (regional corporates, volunteer fundraisers and groups, educational institutions, eventers and formal community groups) to bring people together and raise funds for the charity.

Key responsibilities will include:

Community Fundraising strategy development
Relationship / account management
Team management
Strategy development
Budgetary responsibility

Essential Criteria to be considered:

Significant experience of working within a relationship management function in the not for profit sector
Demonstrable experience of cultivating and stewarding relationships to meet business objectives
Proven experience of leading and motivating a team (including volunteers) to deliver ambitious income targets
Experience of working within a target driven role, with a proactive and creative approach to developing and delivering compelling pitches to different audiences
Proficient in the use of MS Office programmes and a CRM database
