Senior Digital Content Officer

Job description

A national charity are looking for a Senior Digital Content Officer for 5 months, starting immediately on a fixed term contract.

We re looking for someone who has strong experience creating and editing audience-centred, digitally-optimised content for a large website, preferably in the charity sector. You must be confident working with stakeholders across an organisation, building effective working relationships and championing digital best practice.

Duties:
Create, edit and optimise content for our websites.
Use tools such as Google Analytics and heat maps to review content and optimise conversions and engagement.
Identify content gaps based on keyword research and competitor analysis.
Ensure all content is optimised for search (SEO).
Work with stakeholders to develop audience-centred content and update existing pages in line with organisational objectives.
To liaise with and advise stakeholders on best practice for creating effective, accessible content for digital channels and devising intuitive user journeys within their designated areas and across the website.
To support the Digital Content Manager in delivering the content strategy and editorial plans within the wider digital strategy and charitable objectives.
