Senior Digital Marketing Specialist (Retention)

Job description

A fantastic International Campaigning Charity in London are looking to recruit a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist (Retention) on a 2 year FTC with the possibility of extension.The ideal candidate will have a strategic overview within the email channel specifically with experience in developing user journeys and automation campaigns. Knowledge of our Adestra ESP would be a bonus.

Key responsibilities include:
- The creation and successful implementation of email & SMS strategy in order to deepen engagement
- Devising a cross-channel retention strategy and leading on the design and deliverance of email journeys
- Line-managing the Digital Marketing specialist
- Managing the relationship with external agencies and suppliers
- Providing Digital Comms expertise, advising on the outbound SMS network programme, including segmentation and supporter journeys

The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
- Experience in creating email experiences that have positively impacted retention (SMS strategy experience is desirable but not essential)
- A strong understanding of email and cross channel marketing technologies
- Experience working with an Email Service Provider to deliver customer experiences based on advanced segmentation, automation and optimisation tools
- Highly developed content editing and copywriting skills
- Excellent analytics skills with the ability to produce compelling reporting on the effectiveness of all digital campaigns and communications
