Calling all Emergency Response Officers! Are you an Emergency Response Officer looking for your nest opportunity?
I am delighted to be working with an international crisis support charity in search of a temporary (until August 2022) Senior Emergency Response Officer. As Senior Emergency Response Officer you will manage the day-to-day function of all aspects the Emergency Response service. You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of activities within the area and across area boundaries.

Principal responsibilities:
Support the delivery of the national and area plan
To be responsible for the achievement of local and team targets as part of the area and national plans.
To oversee an operationally ready rota of volunteers to support responses
Ensure that regular audits of resources are carried out and adequate supplies are maintained.
Support service development and contracts
Secure and negotiate funding streams where appropriate
Manage small service contracts in line with national standards and policies
Provide event, incident and exercise administration, participate in exercises, and prepare and contribute to post event/incident reports
Effectively manage all ER Area resources and be responsible for the ER vehicles allocated to the role.
ensuring the use of pertinent information to monitor and review service activity to determine resource allocation
Ensure that statistical records, and operational reports are produced and maintained as required
To manage and motivate the ER Officers by providing leadership and support
To oversee the recruitment and management of emergency response volunteers
