Senior Executive Assistant- Governance

Job description

A mental health charity based in Central London are looking for a Senior Executive Assistant- Governance. The successful candidate will support the Company Secretary and the Honorary Officers of the Charity, the latter of whom are volunteers. (Currently Chair, Vice Chair and Treasurer).

Key responsibilities
Executive assistant support for the Company Secretary and the Honorary Officers of the Charity, the latter of whom are volunteers. (currently Chair, Vice Chair and Treasurer).
Co-ordination and minuting of governance (the Board, its two committees and Council) and cross directorate management meetings.
Handling confidential information.
Supporting the Head of the Private Office to ensure the smooth running of the function and office.
Maintaining good relations with counterparts, key stakeholders and partners.
Providing hospitality to Trustees visiting Head Office.

Person specification
Experience working at a senior level as an Executive Assistant.
Experience of governance and working with a Board
Creative, adaptable, and bring a positive enthusiasm to my work.
Experience of leading a team.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Experience of effectively managing competing priorities and working to conflicting deadlines.
Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with others.
Proficiency in co-ordination meetings and taking minutes.
A commitment to learning and professional development.
Excellent IT skills proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
