Senior HR advisor

Job description

Harris Hill is working with a unique special needs school to find a Senior HR Advisor to join their team for 4 to 6 months. the job role is an immediate start. Duties will include:

Key responsibilities

Utilisation of direct sourcing methodologies with a view to reducing the company's reliance on recruitment agencies and our recruitment costs, e.g. through recruitment campaigns, etc
Review all job descriptions and work with managers to ensure that reporting lines are clear, JDs are fit for purpose and person specifications are clear
Review with Managers, the appropriate candidate attraction methods [especially for specialist roles], where posts are advertised, which specialist agencies are used etc
completing all recruitment related administration until handover to the HR advisors including completing vetting clearance
Review the utilisation of agency workers across the organsiation and develop a reporting system for monitoring and reporting on this and analysis of trends

Additional responsibilities

Conduct market research into the appropriate pay levels for each job
To provide cover for the HR Advisors
Review all job descriptions across the organisation and work with managers to ensure that reporting lines are clear, JDs are fit for purpose and any training and development needs of current employees are identified and followed up
