Senior Marketing Manager (part-time)

Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for a temporary Senior Marketing Manager (part-time) for a leading cancer related charity in order to lead National Marketing (Fundraising) department plan and strategy through the management of a team that develop, campaign manage and deliver of a number of fundraising products. . This will be a temporary 3 months contract, 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Accountable for developing multi-media campaigns to deliver to planned product schedules and budgets, including full marketing plans and agency briefs.
Accountable for achieving income targets and relevant KPIs as set in the department plan, whilst remaining within budgeted expenditure.
Accountable for ensuring that the team complies with all organisational policies and procedures and external regulation. Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant regulation and law and ensure it is applied appropriately.
Write full 1 year tactical marketing plans in accordance with strategy and budgets, with input from relevant departments develop, monitor and continually evolve in year product strategies to deliver to department plans. Monitor, forecast and report against in year product income and expenditure lines.
Carry out in-depth analysis of product and campaign performance and apply learning in-campaign and to future campaigns. Work with Evidence & Insight and Planning to derive insights from research and apply to marketing and product plans.
Lead the management of campaigns to drive income and customer experience. Maintain expert industry knowledge and apply best practice in campaign delivery. Continually monitoring and refining the portfolio of products/propositions and channels/media in order to optimise value from investment.
Partner with Innovation and the New Product Development Lead to deliver new propositions to market as required.
Monitor, manage and motivate external suppliers, partners, and agencies (e.g. media buying, creative)

In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:

Significant experience in Budgeting, Forecasting and Planning Evidence based customer insight development Channel and Campaign Analysis.
Significant experience in writing Multi Channel Marketing Plans, Marketing campaign management and Multi-Channel management, Vendor and partner management
Experience in revenue generating brand marketing roles with budget responsibilities.
Has planned in year marketing campaign budgets and delivered to them, including regular expenditure and income reforecasting
Has successfully turned information into insight and applied it to marketing and/or product plans.
Has analysed in campaign performance metrics and applied learning to improve in-campaign and future results
Has written and delivered multi-channel through-the-line marketing plans
Has analysed channel performance and adjusted in-campaign and subsequent media plans to optimise investment
Has taken a new proposition to market (i.e. created by others), using insight to develop positioning, identity, and marketing plan for launch
Has briefed and managed external marketing agencies and suppliers to time and budget, motivating them to deliver work that meets or beats expectation
