Senior Marketing Officer

Job description

A great opportunity has arisen for a temporary Senior Marketing Officer for a children related charity based in London in order to support the Mass Participation Team to develop and implement a retention programme, designed to engage supporters who have previously undertaken and event or mass activity.

Key Responsibilities will include:
Lead on the development of supporter journeys designed to retain supporters who have previously undertaken mass participation activities.
Creating appropriate content to engage and inspire supporters.
Liaising with stakeholders to collate branded assets.
To produce regular activity reports incorporating learning, effectiveness and highlighting further opportunities
To actively participate in regular department and team meetings

In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:
Highly developed project management skills, with an understanding of dependencies and how to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent understanding of and empathy with the motivations of supporters.
Excellent understanding of retention marketing techniques across a range of media including digital.
Strong creative judgement and ability to articulate and deliver feedback.
Highly developed copy-writing skills to deliver ideas and activity updates to a range of audiences in a clear, inspiring and confident way.
Well-developed ability to build, manage and develop relationships with individuals within an organisation and externally and achieve objectives through these relationships.
Proven ability to work with and through other teams and departments to maximise results for an organisation.
Campaign reporting and evaluation experience
Experience of working with email software programmes, such as Adestra or Mailchimp
