Senior Mass Participation Fundraiser

Job description

Harris Hill are pleased to be working with a known children's charity to find a Senior Mass Participation Fundraiser. This role is focused on project managing fundraising campaigns and events ensuring income and participant numbers remain high.

Main responsibilities:

-Work with team on the annual business plan around the Mass Participation events working to income and participation targets
-Responsible for delivering events and supporter experiences that maximise income, and continued support from participants- exceeding expectations
-Ensure current events are planned thoroughly and run smoothly
-To engage and inspire the charities' event participants and supporters, gaining knowledge and understanding of participants to improve events and support
-To use creative communication techniques to inspire and engage from pre-event, on the day and post event
-To project manage events and fundraising campaigns and work closely with the marketing team to ensure smooth running.

Person specification:

-Experience project managing large scale fundraising events, or campaigns
-Strong relationship development skills, both within the charity and externally
-Ability to work to deadlines, working with multiple projects at a time and negotiate
-Solid numerical skills, dealing with interpreting and analysing financial data
-Ability to plan and implement projects from start to finish, keeping to agreed deadlines
-Proven ability to develop, build and maintain relationships, through written and verbal communication. Including delivering pitches, and ideas to differing audiences
