Harris Hill is working with a Children's Literacy charity, supporting their search for an interim Senior Trust and Foundations Manager for 3-4 months, whilst they recruit permanently.

This organisation is currently secures around £500k from a handful of regular grant giving organisations. This is secure and reactive but the organisation doesn't have any systems in place to proactively drive new trust and statutory donations. We are therefore looking for someone with exception skills, who can develop these systems to take this income stream to the next level.

The client feels strongly that there is a opportunity for the charity to grow in this area with the great cause and work that they do. The client doesn't have any pipelines, so the successful candidate would need to drive this stream from prospect research to pipeline, whilst managing the reporting of a multi million pound grant.

Principal Responsibilities
Carry out research to develop a pipeline of potential trust and foundation donors.
Work with colleagues across the organisation to develop proposals
Line manage the Corporate Partnerships Manager - You do not need Corporate experience. Just relieve pressure from the Director of Income in regard to this line report.
Undertake reporting to all current funders
Produce regular reports for Director of Income and the board.
Plan and prepare relevant and timely approaches in order to develop new relationships and funders
Personally develop and write all major bids and applications and account-manage key trust and foundation funders.
Collaborate with internal colleagues on the development of project applications that may be appealing to funders.
To play an active role as a member of the Communications & Development leadership team and the wider leadership team.


Experience:
We are looking for someone with previous experience of securing six figure income.
Someone who can develop stream from a prospect.
Experienced in building relationships with new Trusts and Foundations
