Senior Website and Digital Marketing Manager

Job description

A leading UK Health Charity is seeking a Senior Website and Digital Marketing Manager with a passion for digital, keen to take the charity to the next level.

The website has over 5 million visitors a year and is the number one site worldwide site specialising in this area, providing invaluable expert knowledge and advice. What's more, they're currently redeveloping their website to make it even better! You would play a key role in the redevelopment, continuing to improve the existing and then the new site, focusing on a user led approach and keeping it at the top of search rankings.

In this exciting, varied role you will also be leading on developing web and digital marketing strategies, email marketing plans and will use your strong leadership skills to manage four staff members and other temporary staff. Acting as a digital expert in the charity, you will also advise colleagues across the charity from fundraising through to schools, on how to make best use of the website and digital marketing. 

Supporter experience is key to the charity and you need to be tenacious about getting to know their audiences delving deep into insight to understand who they are and what the charity can do for them and then translating that into organisational strategy and then action across the team and across the organisation.
