Service Manager

Job description

A wonderful, London-based social welfare charity are looking to recruit their next Service Manager on an initial 4-5 month interim basis. This vacancy is on a part-time basis of 3 days a week.

Key responsibilities of the role are as follows:

  • Manage and support the Rape Crisis staff team and volunteers
  • Ensure advice, advocacy and therapeutic services are of a high standard
  • Complete monitoring reports and attend partnership meetings
  • Provide regular supervision to staff members
  • Identify and respond to performance issues, complaints and disciplinary issues as required

Skills and Experience required:

  • Experience of working with women who have experience sexual violence
  • Experience of managing an operational service delivery team
  • Experience of service monitoring and evaluation
  • Proven ability to manage a busy caseload
  • Knowledge surrounding sexual and domestic violence, rape trauma, and long-term mental health effects of sexual abuse
