Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Cardiff Women’s Aid, this fantastic charity are working to prevent and respond to domestic and sexual violence and all other forms of violence against women and girls. They have steadily grown over the last few years and currently have a dedicated team of over 60 staff and 40 volunteers. They develop specialised, tailored services for survivors of violence against women.

The post holder will join the CEO and Business Development Director in forming the senior executive team which oversees all aspects of Cardiff Women’s Aid including all internal core services, all support services, all projects and all business development and financial sustainability for the organisation. The Executive Management Team holds a collective responsibility for the management, leadership and development of CWA.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the post-holder will be responsible for the effective delivery of the organisation's support services through the line-management of senior managers to deliver services which are person centred and solution focussed. Identifying and managing risk will be a high priority but the service must be delivered in a way which is trauma informed and recognises the needs and priorities of the client and their family.
The post holder will lead on the strategic delivery of all front-line support services including accommodation-based support, community provision, children and young people services and projects. The post holder will work collaboratively with the CEO and Business Development Director in identifying gaps in provision and shaping new services. A key function of the post will be to provide strategic direction for the support services provision and ensure delivery of high quality, trauma informed, needs led practice.
To be considered for this position you will need to have: CEO or senior management team level experience with wide-ranging responsibility at an organisation of comparable scale and complexity. You would need to provide a track record of successful organisational development, managing operational and financial performance, building relationships with professionals and non-executives and experience of implementing systems and processes.
