Social Media & Content Manager

Job description

A dynamic, ambitious music charity based in North London are looking to recruit a Social Media & Content Manager.

As Social Media & Content Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the charity’s social media strategy, channels and content forward to align with their exciting rebrand.

You’ll be joining a new Communications and Engagement team at an exciting time, as they plan a repositioning and rebrand which will clearly articulate the impact they have in society through music every day.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of the social media plan and managing channels to ensure social media raises awareness, drives fundraising and engagement and builds diverse communities. You will work to identify opportunities across social for new business, revenue growth and audience engagement, especially on Facebook and will develop and run paid social campaigns as required.

You must be passionate about developing compelling, story-led content that will power the social media channels and marketing and fundraising campaigns. The content you create needs to be inclusive, accessible and connect with audiences on an emotional level too.
