Job description

As Social Media & Digital Campaigns Officer for a fantastic community focused organisation you will create and curate creative online campaigns, strengthening awareness with the public through digital engagement and storytelling.

In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of ongoing digital engagement campaigns, using social media platforms, blogs and other relevant channels to create buzz and engagement.

Working closely with the Digital Campaigns Manager you will identify, develop and publish creative, engaging content and key messages through social media (particularly Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram but potentially other channels and mediums such as podcasting as required and according to shifts in digital communication trends). Experience in multi-format content creation – including video, photography, podcast, graphic design and writing is key.

The successful candidate will commission and manage relationships with third party platforms, creating engaging and appropriate content for distribution on their channels to achieve significant levels of reach, impressions and engagements to contribute to overall digital targets and strategic framework. You will also have the opportunity to work on insight & analysis; monitoring web and social media traffic/activity and preparing regular reports.
