Harris Hill are delighted to be supporting a fantastic charity working to stop UK hunger and poverty, in their search for a Social Media Manager.

In the UK, more than 14 million people are living in poverty - including 4.5 million children. Our client works tirelessly to support by providing emergency food to help people temporarily solve the crises they face.

Please note, this role is home-based with some travel to either the Salisbury or London office.

In this role you’ll be responsible for the overall development and management of social channels and activity, in support of the organisational strategy. You’ll lead on collaborative content planning and creation, across organic and paid activity, using social media to help develop and support the charity’s overall brand position, whilst supporting specific targeted campaigns and messaging.

Specialist knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin, including how they can each be maximised as part of a broader channel mix is vital. You must also be highly experienced in a range of scheduling and analytics tools for social media platforms, with strong content planning and creation skills, including copywriting, image selection/ creation, and production and/or commissioning of video. Experience of balancing a range of stakeholders and objectives to prioritise content and inform scheduling is also key.
