Social Media Officer

Job description

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a leading children's charity in their search for a Social Media Officer.

In this role, you'll be supporting the creation, commissioning, publishing and distribution of marketing content across the charity's social media channels and website. This includes working on efficient processes for managing how content is stored, revised, approved and distributed and making prompt amendments to published content, ensuring audiences have the most up-to-date information available. Community engagement is key; you'll engage with the user community in an authentic and consistent tone of voice to stimulate interest and conversation around products and services. Always keen to make improvements where necessary, you'll test and optimise content publishing in order to increase target audience reach and engagement.

To be successful in this position, experience using digital content management systems, an understanding of how search engines operate, and knowledge of the modern media landscape is crucial. You must also possess strong editorial and copywriting skills, with proven experience in producing written content for digital media properties with large audiences.
