Social Media Producer

Job description

Harris Hill is currently seeking a Social Media Producer ASAP for 3 months to cover a recruitment period.

Based within a marketing and communications team, you will be responsible for the delivery of social media activities, paid for and organic, to increase awareness, grow audiences and income. As well as being an expert copywriter, you will be adept at creating video, photo and other assets for social media channels, such as infographics.

Key responsibilities

Creating video, photograph and other digital assets to support social media activity, ensuring it is compelling, fits with our brand and is engaging for our audiences.
Writing engaging and compelling social media posts, that fits our brand and engage our audiences.
Producing info-graphics and editing photographs, to use on our social media channels
Monitoring our social media channels, interacting with supporters and working with managers to respond to negative comments or reputation issues as they arise.
Maintain a proactive overview of our channels, spotting opportunities to increase engagement with supporters and grow the number of followers.
Overall responsibility for keeping the Marketing and Communications team activity planner up to date, working with managers across the team to co-ordinate activity to ensure communications are timely and relevant to our audiences.
Work with managers within the Marketing and Communications team, and in fundraising team to schedule a programme of organic and paid for post, ensuring activities are timely and meet the needs of our audiences.
Attend team meetings and contribute to discussion about marketing and communications activities.
Plan paid for social media advertising activities, advising on targeting so we are able to reach warm and cold audiences.
Use data to monitor the performance of all our social media activities, advising managers on how to optimise the performance of social media activities.
Provide data and analysis that enables us to evaluate the performance of all our social media activities and propose ideas to improve future performance of our channels and campaigns.
