Special Events Fundraiser

Job description

Harris Hill are excited to be working with a loved national children's charity to a Special Events Fundraiser. They are looking for someone to focus on high level fundraising events and maximise income in their energetic team.

Main responsibilities:
-Maximise income from potential and current supporters through project managing specific events from event logistics to relationship management

-To deliver to the agreed departmental strategy, goals and fundraising budget.

-Build excellent relationships with key stakeholders (like committees) and supporters who take responsibility for delivering income through high level fundraising events

-To research potential new fundraising opportunities, comparing the market and industries to ensure growth and development in the Special Events team

-To work with supporters, communicating with creative written and verbal engagement methods

Person specification:
-Experience in managing fundraising events in a fundraising/sales or marketing environment

-Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, to engage with various audiences

-Strong relationship building skills, with the ability to negotiate

-The aptitude to plan, implement and evaluate events, analysing findings and identifying new opportunities

-Creativity and able to cross work with other teams in the organisation

-Working to deadlines, attention to detail and a team player
