Special Events Officer

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a fantastic charity that works with people with a learning disability in their search for a Special Events Officer in order to manage and deliver the charity growing special events portfolio including the concerts, high value supporter dinners and key events across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

  • You will deliver an outstanding event experience that inspires long lasting relationships with the charity supporters.
  • You will create engaging content, materials and communications appropriate for a range of audiences.
  • You will also play a pivotal role in delivering the on the day logistics and support at events
  • You will also keep detailed up to date records of supporter activity, engagement and income on the CRM database.



The ideal candidate for the role will have:

  • Experience of supporting and/or delivering special events to meet fundraising targets
  • Experience of charity event management and planning
  • Experience of building strong, long lasting relationships with fundraisers
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to communicate across various platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Able to manage and organise a busy and varied workload
  • Excellent attention for detail


Salary: £28,274 per annum
Location: London, hybrid working , 1-2 days in the office
