Special Events Officer

Job description

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a leading children's charity in their search for a Special Events Officer.

In this exciting position you'll be working alongside the event managers to help deliver the growing Special Events portfolio of high value and high-profile events. Your role will be responsible for ensuring event managers have the best and most efficient event support to enable maximum fundraising potential reached and supporters of events nurtured.

You must be a team player with and excellent eye for detail and adept at managing multiple activities across multiple events - you would work closely with the event managers and be integral to the administrative and logistical delivery of events in the portfolio. You will be involved in the event cycle from inception through to implementation and take on specific, major elements of the event delivery for each event working alongside the event manager. There will also be opportunities to run solo with smaller events/activities.
