Supporter Appeal Manager

Job description

A national charity for homeless people is seeking a talented direct marketer to lead the organisation's award-winning Supporter Appeals team, responsible for one of the most successful direct marketing programmes in the sector.

As Supporter Appeals Manager, you will be leading a team of seven who are responsible for raising 27m each year through Christmas, year-round appeals, raffles, telemarketing and digital. Working on recruitment and development, engaging supporters in Crisis' work is key to this role, not only to raise funds, but to engage supporters in other ways to reach the organisation's goal to end homelessness.

This role is a fixed-term maternity cover and will run until approximately December 2019.

To be successful in this role you will have considerable experience in managing large scale direct marketing campaigns, including supporter recruitment. You will have experience of managing external agencies and working across a range of media including TV, radio, inserts, door-drop, direct mail and digital. You will also have strong line management experience and the ability to inspire and lead a team.
