I am currently looking for an experienced (Raisers Edge) Supporter Care Assistant for an amazing women's charity. This is a key post within the Fundraising team playing a vital role in providing the highest possible care and stewardship to supporters ensuring they feel valued, inspired and continue to support the charity. This role will also support the database team with income processing and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the data.
Responding to all enquiries from existing and prospective supporters (by phone, post and email) in a timely and effective way in addition to log all correspondence from supporters against their record on Raisers Edge.
Ensuring all donations are personally thanked according to the agreed stewardship process. This may include sending out thank you letters and welcome packs, thank you emails as well as making telephone calls.
Actioning all administration communications to donors (by phone, post and email). This will include confirming lapsed, amended and rejected payments, Gift Aid and other related supporter actions and enquiries.
Responsible for managing the correspondence and relationships with donors who make a 'in memory' or 'in celebration' donation.
Support the Community & Events team with the stewardship for event participants and fundraisers. This will include sending welcome emails, managing fundraising pages and the fulfilment of event packs and merchandise.
Support the Database team with the accuracy and data integrity of Raisers Edge. This will include updating the fundraising database with any changes to supporters' contact or payment details, communication preferences and Gift Aid declarations.
Support all the income processing, ensuring that all fundraising donations are correctly coded and batched ready for posting on the fundraising database.
Responsible for the daily importing of online donations from the website (captured by Engaging Networks) onto Raisers Edge.
To scan and upload relevant documentation to supporter records on the fundraising database as appropriate.
Responsible for liaising with our direct debit bureau to ensure any changes to direct debits we receive from supporters are recorded accurately and promptly on the portal.
To ensure that all newsletter sign-ups are recorded on the fundraising database.
Provide administration and general support to the Fundraising team as required. Responsible for monitoring stock levels of fundraising materials and informing teams when stock falls to an agreed minimum level.
As part of our commitment to ongoing development for team members, this post will provide support on fundraising projects as and when necessary, including attending fundraising events. The development opportunities will be agreed and detailed in the probationary and annual objective setting forms.
Set up and maintain an accurate fundraising filing system.
