We’re looking for a Supporter Care Assistant to join a busy and friendly team on a temporary basis.
In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for supporters – responding to enquiries by phone and email, processing donations, and keeping supporter records accurate and up to date. You’ll also play an important part in making sure every supporter feels valued and appreciated, whether that’s through sending out personalised thank you cards or providing efficient support to fundraising activity.
Supporter Care Assistant
Contract: Temporary until end of November
Pay rate: £14.30 per hour plus holiday pay
Hours: Full time, 34 hours per week
Location: Hybrid – minimum 2 set days per week in the Aldgate, London office, with the remainder worked remotely
Team: Supporter Care
What you’ll be doing:
Delivering excellent supporter care via phone and email
Processing and acknowledging donations promptly and accurately
Logging supporter information and interactions on the internal database
Supporting the smooth running of fundraising activity through effective administration
Working closely with colleagues across the organisation to achieve fundraising goals
What we’re looking for:
Great verbal and written communication skills
A confident, friendly phone manner and a genuine enjoyment of helping people
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
The ability to juggle tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy environment
A team player who can also work independently
London-based or within commuting distance, able to attend the Aldgate office at least 2 set days per week
Desirable but not essential:
Experience in customer service or supporter care
Familiarity with databases or CRM systems
Previous involvement in fundraising or campaign activity
What’s on offer:
