Supporter Contact Officer

Job description

I am currently recruiting for a Supporter Care Officer for an international animal charity. This temporary role will start in the new year and is essential for the smooth running of the charities Supporter Care Team!

Main duties:
Stewarding and engaging with Brooke donors
Providing tailored stewardship to community supporters
Answering telephone calls from supporters- queries, donations, complaints etc.
Responding to queries via email and post
Resolving complaints
Supporting the team as required with administrative tasks and other work related to Supporter Care

Skills and experience:


Demonstrable experience of working with a Supporter Care Team within a charity
Excellent call handling skills including dealing with queries and complaints
Experience of stewarding supporters and providing a tailored experience to individual donors
First class communication skills and excellent written and spoken English
Experience of working with a charity database to access and update donor records
