Supporter Engagement Officer

Harris Hill are pleased to be working with a fantastic Children's charity to find a Supporter Engagement Officer to join their new team. You will be engaging with and stewarding volunteers to develop relationships, growing the community engagement and income

Key responsibilities:

-To work with the Supporter Engagement Manager to cultivate new and develop existing relationships with supporters to help grow charity engagement and income. Including individual supporters, groups and church and community supporters

-To use Raiser's Edge to account manage key supporters, ensuring records are up to date

-To have full involvement in stewardship and recruitment events for supporters, including attending, co-ordinating and supporting them

-To take the lead on certain assigned projects and responsibilities in co-ordination with the rest of the team

-To work in and support the team, represent the charity and be proactive in keeping up to date with updates inside and outside the third sector

-To manage your time effectively through preparation, prioritisation and focus, working within set timescales

To ensure the database is up to date, accurate and managed efficiently to maximise supporter engagement

Essential criteria:

-The ability to influence verbally, inspiring and encouraging support, with experience communicating with supporters, customers or volunteers

-Impeccable time management and planning, with the ability to organise and analyse data

- Educated to degree level, or equivalent experience

-A demonstrable experience of achieving and growing fundraising income or sales targets

Previous involvement in enlisting and supporting volunteers, community fundraising, account management, or a similar environment

Experience of fundraising with two or more of the following community groups this can include schools, churches, university students, corporates, groups and associations
