Supporter Fundraising Manager

Job description

 A beloved national children’s charity are in search of a Supporter Fundraising Manager(Wales) and Harris Hill are delighted to assist them with their search. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is an excellent people and relationship manager, with a real passion for protecting the most vulnerable children in society.

In this role, you will lead and support the Welsh fundraising team, overseeing the development of community, corporate and events fundraising in order to maximise income generation for the region. To succeed in this role, you will need to be a ‘people person’ – an excellent communicator and relationship builder who can work well with a range of colleagues, from volunteers and supporters to high level donors, as well as managing 3 direct reports. You will need to work well independently and autonomously, with the confidence and ability to direct strategy and manage budgets, while also being a visible and friendly member of the organisation within the community.

The role is a hugely varied and exciting one, and through your effort you will provide invaluable support for children and young people that will improve their lives beyond measure. The organisation as a whole are hugely friendly, supportive, collaborative and flexible.

Salary: £38,648 - £43,918 plus £500 Home working allowance p.a.

Contract type: permanent, full time (35 hours per week, with occasional out of hours/weekend work – Time Off In Lieu and flexible working are offered) – option for condensed hours 4 day week.

Location: the role is homebased but requires travel across Wales, and attendance at events.
