Talent and Events Producer

Harris Hill is working with a Human Rights charity, looking to find them an interim Talent and Events Producer on an interim basis, starting ASAP until November.

The purpose of this role is to support our work to raise the profile of the charity and human rights in the UK and to enable more people - including artists / influencers - to understand and use their own power to understand, educate and promote human rights and create more positive attitudes towards human rights in the UK and around the world. You will be
responsible for producing events to support strategic goals and recruiting, developing and cultivating a selection of artist and influencer relationships.

Duties:
Produce and manage project plans for relevant events, including running project groups cross-departmentally. To engage and liaise with performers, speakers and artists for relevant events & projects.
Set and report on objectives and KPI's for projects supporting the achievement of strategic goals.
Work with the Events and Artist Relations Manager and team to develop and project manage new creative content, events and ideas to maximise the legacy of relationship with creative industries. Develop and deliver a programme of regular
communications for artists to ensure relationships are effectively maintained and strengthened and record in our systems.
Collaborate with media, digital and design teams to devise and implement communications and PR plans involving artist related projects and events supporting strategic goals.
Play a leading role to represent the team across cross-organisational project groups including developing artist and event team plans in relation to those defined campaigns and projects.
Provide specialist advice and information relating to ad hoc requests from staff / external queries / activists relating to events or artists.
Ensure our anti-racism framework is embedded across our operational plans to ensure all our work is inclusive, diverse and creates a sense of belonging across communities.
Manage tasks for the Events and Artist Relations assistant in conjunction with other Talent/Event Producers.
Manage any agency relationships and contractors as appropriate including negotiating contracts.
Draft and manage income and expenditure budgets for specific projects as required.

Experience
Significant project management experience working on complex, high-profile live and hybrid events / projects involving
multiple stakeholders
Researching and working with high profile artists, influencers, their managers, agents and publicists to deliver effective
communications to educate, change attitudes and encourage support for campaigns / projects
Engaging artists in online / social media and/or broadcast content and campaigns
Managing suppliers such as catering and technical equipment companies.
Oversight of moderate to significant budgets
Developing and maintaining admin processes and using databases
Managing workplans, timelines and relationships
