Talent Manager
Job description
Harris Hill are currently working with a great charity based in London, SW1 to help secure a Talent Manager on a permanent basis, paying 35,000 per annum.
Reporting to the Head of Talent, the role of Talent Manager is a varied and unique opportunity to work at the interfaces between business, government and the not-for-profit sector. The successful candidate will take ownership and responsibility for the management and continuing development the organisations Non-Executive Director and Trustee Recruitment service.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Overall ownership for Non-Executive Director and Trustee recruitment service
- Managing the recruitment process for all opportunities including candidate and client management and related project management
- Providing a high standard of support to candidates and building a network of high-calibre Non-Executives
- Leading on Learning & Development interventions, including secondment brokering and mentor-matching
- Business development for both the Recruitment service but also the Talent offering more broadly
- Building strong relationships with our members by learning about their organisations and requirements
- Supporting on the delivery of workshops for prospective Non-Executive Directors and other development programmes
- Improving user experience.
The key skills and experiences include:
- Enthusiastic, confident, self-aware;
- A strong interest in government, business and the not-for-profit sector, their interaction, and the value of cross-sector learning
- Experience in one or more of the following: Talent Management, Learning & Development, Executive Search or Recruitment
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, and attention to detail
- Consultative and partnership-driven
- Excellent interpersonal skills an adaptable style to suit different people, cultures and situations
- Experience of developing and managing relationships with senior stakeholders
- Flexibility particularly during occasional all hands to the pump situations
- Desire to get involved in wider projects and activities
